Infants and Children up through age six (6)

Baptism is the first sacramental stage of Christian membership. It is necessary for the parents of the candidates for Baptism to be registered in the parish. A parent and a sponsor must be baptized in the Catholic Church. Preparation classes can be attended before or after the birth of the child. The Celebration of the Rites of Baptism will be arranged with the parish staff after the preparation is completed.

Parent/(s) are asked to attend one session of Baptism I and one session of Baptism II prior to baptizing their children. Godparents are also required to attend these sessions. Baptisms are celebrated individually during Saturday and Sunday Masses or within a group outside of Mass on Saturdays and Sundays. Baptisms are not scheduled during Mass during Advent and Lent.
