LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
§ Lectors Schedule Feb to Apr 2008 (English) § Lay Eucharistic Ministers Schedule A WORD ON LITURGY
In the liturgy, especially in the celebration of Eucharist, we, the faithful, express in our lives and share with others, the mystery of Christ and the real nature of the true Church.
The Church is both human and divine, visible and yet invisibly equipped, eager to act and yet intent on contemplation, present in this world and yet not at home in it.
The liturgy daily builds us up into a holy temple of the Lord, into a dwelling place for God in the Spirit, to the mature measure of the fullness of Christ.
At the same time, the liturgy also strengthens our power to preach Christ, and so the Church grows as a sign and instrument of our union with God and our solidarity with all humankind and all creation until the day there is one sheepfold and one shepherd.
