MEETING DATES & TIMES
English: Typically our English singers and instrumentalists meet on Wednesday evenings at 7PM in the Church. Newcomers are welcome, but we do ask you to contact us in advance, if possible. Music ministers assist at special services in addition to weekend liturgies.
Spanish: Typically our Spanish singers and instrumentalists meet on Friday evenings at 7PM in the Church. There is also a guitar class on Tuesday evenings at 7PM in the Parish Hall. Music ministers assist at special services in addition to the Mass in Spanish on Saturday evenings at 6:30PM in the Church.
Meaningful songs can form us in faith; bring to mind the words of scripture at the moment we need them; and inspire us to live fully the Gospel. Our prayer life is enriched when we can sing our prayers, such as the psalms or the Canticle of Mary, by a favorite tune. We unite ourselves as a community when we sing with one heart and one voice. Shared music even bridges the gap between Christian communities.
