Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)

"We are incorporated into Christ's body, the church, through the Sacraments of Initiation. When we have been weakened by sin or sickness, we are strengthened within that body through the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick." NCD 123

As individuals and as community we are always called to conversion - called to return to union with God and with each other. At Our Lady of Guadalupe we strive to strengthen our covenant with God and proclaim God's loving mercy to all, especially to our children and youth. We invite you to study the Sacrament of Reconciliation, to share the joy and comfort of this sacrament with your children and youth, and together experience the power of God's love and forgiveness.

We also recommend that the Lenten season be viewed by the parents and the family as a time for healing and reconciliation for all...including the first-time penitent.

**First Eucharist and Reconciliation should be prepared for separately, and not during the same year.**
