Members of OLG volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul Society Soup Kitchen located at the SAMM Shelter in downtown San Antonio approximately every 6 weeks. Upcoming dates are listed in the Parish Bulletin.  Our team is responsible for serving meals to 250-300 men, women and children. We serve the food, carry trays for children, the disabled and the elderly, and clean the kitchen afterwards. Volunteers arrive no later than 4:15 pm and are usually finished by 6:00 pm. Car pooling is available.  This ministry is recommended for adults and teens 15 or older. No experience is necessary - just a friendly smile and a helping hand.
