General sport's season information

Basketball season runs from early December until mid-February, with registration taking place in October. All practices as well as home and away games are held at local parish gyms and middle and elementary school gyms.

Volleyball season begins in August and runs through September with registrations held in June and July. Home and away games are held at local gyms to be determined at the beginning of the season. Fees for the 2008 season are $85.00.

Soccer season begins in August and runs through October with registrations held in June and July. Practices and home games for OLG are held at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church soccer field. Fees for the 2008 season are $125.00.

All registrations require the child's birth certificate and parent's proof of address. Participants must either be registered parishioners at OLG or live within its Diocesan established boundaries. Waivers are granted on an individual basis. All fees include diocese registration fees, uniforms, gym and field rental fees, and game security.

OLG- CYO will be having soccer and volleyball registration

for the following weekends:

July 13, 2008 @ the pavilion -- 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

July 20, 2008 @ the pavilion -- 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

No late registrations will be accepted – so make plans to register on the dates and at the times above.

NOTE: Regarding baseball: Due to the overwhelming popularity of Helotes Little League, we currently have NO PLANS to offer T-ball, softball, or baseball through OLG. Please call your local Little League or YMCA programs for these sports
